SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regard to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of sassa status check the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The service point created for intervention experiences a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
